Report: the following year's Call of Duty  is  Modern Warfare 2

The Cost is correct.

The following year's fundamental portion in the continuous Call of Duty juggernaut will be Modern Warfare 2, the continuation of 2019's Modern Warfare (itself a revamp of 2007's Modern Warfare: the ouroboros is genuine). That would obviously agree with Activision-Snowstorm's typical long term advancement cycles for each subseries, with 2020 bringing us Dark Operations—Cold Conflict and this year bringing Vanguard.

The break at first came from Tom Henderson, a twitter presence who works in uncovering information about FPS games, prior to being affirmed by VGC.

Venture Cortez is evidently a reference to the person Felix Cortez in the 1994 film Clear and Present Risk, which is on the grounds that, according to VGC's sources, "Modern Warfare's continuation will incorporate a mission including US exceptional powers battling an incognito conflict against Columbian medication cartels."

The first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 included one of the series' most notorious scenes, the mission 'No Russian' wherein the player takes an interest in a terrorist assault in an air terminal. The Modern Warfare reboot held components of the first while building another story, so expect something very similar here, and I do consider how the studio will deal with that part of Modern Warfare 2's heritage—if for sure it does by any stretch of the imagination.

The overabundance of Call of Duty is to such an extent that it's a local area image, however there's no indication of things dialing back: this series is simply so large, with different great many individuals working across it in different worldwide studios, that it seems like it's arrived at a type of irreversible minimum amount. Will our youngsters read about a spilled title for the following Call of Duty in 20 years? You wouldn't wager against it.
