Regardless of some disarray, Xbox has affirmed that Starfield is NOT a timed exclusive and there are no plans to carry the game to PlayStation.

Starfield Is NOT A Timed Exclusive

Starfield is not coming to different platforms, according to a Xbox leader. In spite of this already having been known, there have been some new remarks and speculation that began to give a few fans trust in regards to Starfield being multi-platform. Subsequently, Xbox had to step in to clear things up by and by and be as unequivocal as conceivable about where the game can be played.

At E3 2021, Microsoft attempted to clear up any disarray by through and through stating Starfield is a Xbox exclusive. In any case, a few group simply don't get it. Given games like Minecraft have kept on existing outside of the Xbox biological system, it makes sense why there is some speculation over this. That said, Minecraft is a whole lot larger franchise than anything Bethesda has, so it makes more sense to allow that game to keep on blossoming with different platforms. Xbox actually hasn't persuaded everybody that Starfield isn't coming to PlayStation, however.

Xbox marketing executive Aaron Greenberg noted on Twitter that Starfield might be on Xbox and PC and there are no plans to change this previously or after it releases. This all comes following a few remarks from Bethesda executive Pete Hines who recommended games like Starfield could come to PlayStation or non-Xbox platforms later, however maybe it was more speculation that anything could happen rather than this is something that is being planned. There is always the chance that Starfield and other future Bethesda games could come to PlayStation should some rather historic deal be made among Microsoft and Sony, however that will probably be years from now – on the off chance that it at any point happens.

Xbox is clearly having inconveniences communicating its deal with Bethesda and to be fair, a great deal of leaders from the two companies have danced around the selectiveness question on various occasions. Although the answer is by all accounts straightforward and concrete for Starfield, individuals are still largely uncertain of what to anticipate from games like The Elder Scrolls 6. With Starfield being an expansive game from probably the best engineer in the business, it's no surprise that some are really expecting to see it on PlayStation as well. That said, it's been made clear on various occasions that it's not happening.

Although it will agitate individuals, it shows that the multi-billion dollar interest into Bethesda was a great continue on Xbox's part. There's clearly popularity for the studio's games and if individuals really would like to play games like Starfield, they'll probably figure out how to get their hands on a Xbox or a gaming PC. Regardless of whether individuals will in any case accept there's a chance the game will come to different platforms after it launches remains to be seen, yet it appears to be reasonable individuals will in any case hold out trust.
